Delete your data

This page explains how to have your data deleted from MesaBox, including anything we received through Instagram or Facebook. MesaBox is provided by Futurous LLC.

If you connected Instagram or Facebook to MesaBox

In MesaBox, open Channels, then Social, and choose Disconnect. This deletes the stored Page and Instagram account details, the access token, and the sender ids we kept. It takes effect immediately.

You can also remove MesaBox from your Facebook account under Settings, then Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), and from Instagram under Settings, then Apps and Websites. After that, MesaBox can no longer receive or send anything for your accounts.

If you are a customer and want your whole account deleted

Open Settings, then Account, and choose Delete account. Your workspace and its leads are deleted. You can export your leads first.

If you sent a message or comment to a business that uses MesaBox

MesaBox doesn’t keep what you wrote. It keeps only your Meta id and the id of the message, so a business doesn’t reply twice. If you want that removed, or want a lead you submitted deleted, email us from the address you used, and tell us the business and your Instagram or Facebook name.

Ask us to delete it for you

Email contact@mesabox.ai with the subject “Delete my data.” We’ll confirm by email and finish within 45 days, usually much sooner. We may need to confirm it is you before we delete anything.
