Terms of Service

MesaBox is for businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and use MesaBox for business purposes.

MesaBox provides a chat box you put on your website, and a workspace where you manage the leads it collects, book calls and send follow-ups.

MesaBox uses AI to organize what visitors write into your questions. It can make mistakes. Review each brief and confirm important details with the person before relying on them. MesaBox doesn’t provide legal, financial, engineering or design advice.

New accounts start with a 30-day free trial. A payment card is required at sign-up. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged based on the billing you chose: $249 per month billed monthly in advance, or $2,388 per year ($199 per month) billed annually in advance.

You can switch between monthly and annual billing from Settings → Billing. During the trial the switch is immediate; after that it takes effect at your next billing date.

Prices exclude applicable taxes. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change.

The free trial is available once per business, and no card is needed to start it. If your business or website already had a trial, your plan starts when you add a card. You are not charged unless you add a card.

A returning business whose trial ended at least 7 days ago, and who put MesaBox to real use, may be offered a one-time 7-day extension instead.

When you add a card to keep your plan going, we may place a temporary $1 authorization and release it right away. Prepaid cards can’t be used to start a paid plan.

We may end a trial early if an account is used to get around these rules.

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You keep access until the end of the current trial or billing period, after which your chat box stops working.

Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you ask within 30 days of paying for the year, we refund the payment in full. Other than that, we don’t offer refunds for partial periods, except where the law requires it.

Pausing: instead of canceling, you can pause a paid plan for 1 to 3 months, once every 12 months. Billing stops during the pause, your chat box is off, and your account, leads and settings are kept. The plan resumes on its own at the end of the pause, or earlier if you resume it.

MesaBox text messages include booking links that callers ask for, booking confirmations and reminders for visitors who opt in, and account alerts for customers who turn them on. Message frequency varies with how you use MesaBox. Message and data rates may apply.

Keep your login secure and your account information accurate. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Tell your website visitors how you use their information, including in your own privacy policy, and use leads only to respond to their inquiries and related business purposes.

Follow our Acceptable Use Policy (mesabox.ai/acceptable-use), which is part of these terms.

You own your account content and the leads you collect. You give us permission to host, process and transmit it only as needed to provide and secure the service. You can export your leads at any time.

For visitor information, we act as your service provider and process it on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.

If you believe content on MesaBox infringes your copyright, send a notice to our copyright agent at contact@mesabox.ai (Futurous LLC, attn: Copyright Agent, 5900 Balcones Drive, Ste 100, Austin, TX 78731) with: your contact information; the work you believe is infringed; where the material is on MesaBox; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn’t authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act. We’ll respond and remove material when appropriate, and may close the accounts of repeat infringers.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, doesn’t pay, or puts the service or other people at risk. When we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

We work hard to keep MesaBox running, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows, including uninterrupted availability or that every brief will be error-free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to MesaBox is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose, and we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or lost-profit damages.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from your content, your use of leads, or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we’ll email you before they take effect.
