Acceptable Use Policy

MesaBox helps people tell businesses about their projects. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, customers and visitors agree not to use it in the ways below.

Don’t collect what it isn’t built for

Don’t use a chat box to ask for Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, bank details, passwords, health information, or similar sensitive data.

Don’t misuse leads or people

Don’t send spam, buy or sell leads, harass anyone, or contact people in ways they didn’t ask for.

Don’t discriminate against people based on protected characteristics, including in housing, lending or contracting decisions.

Don’t pretend to be another person or business.

Don’t misuse the service

Don’t submit fake, automated or bulk messages, or use a chat box for anything other than describing a real project. It isn’t a general-purpose AI assistant.

Don’t try to get around limits, security or billing, probe other accounts, or interfere with how MesaBox works.

Don’t upload malware, or content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or involves minors.

What we do about it

We may remove content, limit a chat box, or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
